Evaluation of the Efficiency of some Methods in Biological Control of Phlebotomus Papatasi (Diptera:Psychoididae).

The research studies the biological efficiency of fungus Verticillium lacanii and alcoholic extract leaves Nerium sp Capparis Lawsonia against fourth larval instar adults male female Phlebotomus papatasi. study was conducted at laboratory condition a temperature 25±2°C, relative humidity. 65 ± 5% period illumination 12 hours / day . suspension concentration 1×810 spores ml gave highest mortality 86.74% for after 24 treatment, while 78.16% papatasi 1 x 810 spores/ml rate 46.75 % treatment. Alcoholic 89.57.% instar, 76.18% males, 87.71% 0.07 mg/l showed lowest 43.01 29.21% 31.86% sand fly treatment 0.01 respectively.
